About the Position:
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for the Institution. Successful candidate will be a well-organized, flexible individual with strong verbal
and written communication skills (in both English and French) who thrives in a fast-paced, diverse environment. He/she will have the skills to work independently, work
under pressure at times, handle multiple priorities, activities and handle confidential matters with discretion and balance.
Location: Obili, Yaounde
Responsibilities:
 Assist in organizing meetings and ensure pre and post meeting materials are prepared and distributed on a timely basis and to meeting attendees. This includes
managing a timeline for requesting materials and following up on outstanding submissions.  Upon request, attend meetings to record minutes; compile, transcribe and distribute minutes.  Assist the Institution with administrative duties, such as updating lecturers/instructors, partners, lab assistants, etc.  Manage the administration of the institution.  Assist the institution with workshop preparations and other arrangements as appropriate.  Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, proactively and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures  Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
 At least HND or equivalent in a related discipline and 1 + years of experience supporting senior level staff within an organization/institution.  Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment and interact quickly and skilfully with different internal and external constituencies
in order to achieve goals.  Strong organizational skills; ability to perform and prioritize multiple, constantly changing tasks concurrently with an excellent attention to detail.  Proactive, solution-oriented approach to collaboration with strong decision-making capability in order to guide assigned projects to successful conclusions.  Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in French, English a must.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adobe, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Photoshop.  Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.  Solid knowledge of scheduling both domestic and international travel.  Excellent calendar management skills.  Commitment to PEITeB’s mission, vision and values.
