Marketplace Jumia - How to repair my product?


Jumia works with the best suppliers and sellers in Cameroon to offer the best quality products to its customers.

This warranty ensures that, if your product is out of order and it's not due to the customer's fault, the product may be repaired or replaced. The warranty is available on certain products and brands.

In the event of a breakdown on a product still under warranty, the customer must contact jumia and send the product to the repair centre. The customer will be responsible for the shipment.

If it is confirmed as defective, the manufacturer's warranty will cover the entire repair.

Jumia does not intervene between the brand and the customer under this warranty.

However, if the customer finds a fault during the repair process, Jumia customer service can then act as an intermediary to find an acceptable solution.

How do I know if my product is covered by the warranty?

On the product page, to the right of the main photo, there is a special field for the warranty.

If the product has a guarantee, the duration is communicated as in the picture below.






How can I benefit from my warranty?

If you contact Jumia during the 7 days of withdrawal, your product is returnable without having to use the guarantee. Please check our Return policy for more information.

Unfortunately, the supplier will not be able to cover the repair, you will be responsible for the repair and costs.

What should I do to repair my product?

If a product covered by a warranty is confirmed as defective, the supplier will suspend the repair. However, if the fault is due to the user, the product will be returned.

warranty cover only technical failures and do not include accessories and batteries.


You must come to the center with your Jumia delivery receipt!



If my request for product repair is within the warranty period, do I have to pay for the repairs?

If your request for product repair is within the warranty period and there is a breakdown in mechanical or electrical systems, you do not have to worry about the cost of the repair. You will be covered.

If my request for product repair is out of the warranty period, do I have to pay for repairs?

If your request for product repair is out of warranty, you will be responsible for the cost of the repair.
We suggest you repair the product at the seller's repair center for better service. The costs will be at your expense.
