Adrade Shipping Partners are currently recruiting 3 experienced Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Managers (QHSE Managers . You will take responsibility for leading all aspects of developing; implementing and maintaining agreed QHSE and other operating standards across the Contract. Working as part of an integrated team linking with Site Business Managers; unit staff teams, and client site/QHSE representatives dedicated to the contract. Candidates accepted will be based in Kribi, Douala & Yaoundé covering 26 client sites. This really is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career with a global company and lead / develop a team.
-Manage the QHSE team to achieve control, monitoring and implementation of QHSE and contract governance in line with Cameroon policies and procedures.
-Develop, maintain and improve the business Integrated Management System to underpin QHSE and operating standards
-Maintain a contract risk register, reviewing QHSE risks and escalating where appropriate
Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QHSE Standards and the relevance to business objectives.
-Implement the Crisis Management Plan across all Clusters and ensure robust line of escalation exists.
-Provide a single business focus for accident and incident reporting and assist with subsequent investigation process; provide trend analysis to Contract Management Team to support and provide focus for driving positive behaviours and culture within the business.
-Develop Business Continuity Plans for all Service streams and participate in any table top or live exercises to test the plans.
-Monitor, audit and report on contract QHSE performance and provide assurance to Contract, CSIFM Divisional and Client Management Teams.
-Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems; implement and audit to achieve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
-Provide leadership to support the management of supply chains and compliance with QHSE standards through ‘Point of Work
-Assessments’; audit and review of operating practice and systems.
-Ensure appropriate resources are provided to support a compliant business and to identify any systemic weaknesses.
-Be professionally accountable to the CSIFM Head of Health, Safety & Risk
The Ideal Candidate
-Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent degree which suits this career
-Robust knowledge and understanding of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation & best practice and appropriate industry specific qualifications
-Experience of implementing and maintaining QHSE systems across an Integrated Facilities Management business
-Role Model for Managing Change and good analytical skills.
-Previous experience of managing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships
Full Cameroon driving licence( or ready to get one ASAP)
-Excellent IT skills across Microsoft Office
-Ability to work under pressure;

-Good personal organisation skills.
-Good listening and communication skills.
-Good problem solving skills.
- Must be perfectly Bilingual or willing to learn
